When you have entered your itinerary and move to the next page to select your preferred flights, the system will advise which airline the flight is operated by.
For example, if you have selected American Airlines to Los Angeles, the system may advise that one of the flight sectors is operated by Qantas Airways. Or, you may select an Air India flight to Delhi and find that the flight is actually operated by Singapore Airlines.
This is called a "code share" service, which is an agreement between the airlines to share the selected route.
Code share services operate to numerous destinations around the world. Please ensure that you check your itinerary to ensure you are happy with the flight selection and are travelling on an airline you have chosen.
