The airlines hold a certain amount of money before ticketing so that when it is time to ticket the flights, there will be no problems in making the charges. They normally release the amount after ticketing has been done.
Based on your credit card statement, the amount is still on “pending” status, meaning it has not been charged yet and is on hold to ensure the charging of the account for the ticketing process.
Normally, it would be released and would be available again for you once the ticketing has been completed, and if not, as per banks’ policy the amount would be automatically released if no action would be taken within 3 to 5 days.
If in the case it has been charged, please contact us on email@example.com so we can chase the airline for any refund.
