Getting to Brisbane Airport
Take the SkyTrain. It's one of the fastest ways to get from the city to the airport. A one-way trip costs AUD 15 and only takes 20 minutes. Trains leave the CBD stations every 15 minutes from 5:04 a.m. to 10:04 p.m.
If you're on a tight budget, go on the public bus. Routes 569 and 590 connect passengers from the city centre to the airport. To save time, you can also book a direct transfer from your hotel to the departures terminal.
Taxis and ride-sharing services are also available in Brisbane. A one-way trip will you cost you around AUD 33-42 depending on traffic.
Parking at Brisbane Airport
- Park Long: Choose this option if you're leaving your car at the airport for longer than four hours. It's close to the domestic terminals and is a short distance to the check-in counters.
- Park Premium: This is the best option if you don't mind paying extra for convenience. Located on level 3 of the P1 Domestic car park, you'll have exclusive access to express entry and exit ramps.
- Park Valet: If you don't want to waste time when you arrive at the airport, leave your car at the valet parking area. The airport staff will take care of the rest, and you'll be right by the departure terminals.

Getting from Townsville Airport to Your Hotel
Take the city shuttle to your hotel. It runs every day from the airport and will drop you off at selected Townsville Hotels.
Ingham travel runs four return trips from the airport to Ingham every day. The company also has buses that operate to Lucinda, Cardwell and Mission Beach.
Taxis and ridesharing services like Uber will cost AUD 12-15 for a single trip to the airport. Depending on the traffic, journey time from the CBD is about 10-15 minutes.
Rental car desks are conveniently located in the terminal arrivals area. Cars can be picked up and dropped off at the rental car park, located at the arrivals end of the terminal.
