Located 25 km south of Surfers Paradise, the cheapest way to get to the Gold Coast Airport with the public bus. TransLink offers a daily service with pay-as-you-go options or an unlimited bus and tram pass for only AUD 10 per day.
Travelling alone or in a big group? Use the Gold Coast Tourist shuttle to get picked up from your hotel and dropped off at the airport. The service runs from Tweed Heads all the way to Runaway Bay.
If you don't want to take public transport, you can catch a ride with a taxi or a ride-sharing service. Rates from Surfers Paradise to the airport will cost around AUD 30-60 depending on the traffic.

Arriving at Sydney Airport
Sydney is home to the largest and busiest airport in Australia.
If you're flying with Virgin Australia, Jetstar and Tigerair, your flights will depart and arrive at Terminal 2 whereas Qantas passengers flying to and from the Golden Coast will use Terminal 3.
Getting from Sydney Airport to Your Hotel
If you want to avoid sitting in Sydney's notorious traffic jams, catch the train from the airport into the city. It's a quick 13 minutes, and trains depart every 10 minutes from 5:00 a.m. to midnight 7-days a week.
Exploring Sydney on a tight budget? Hop on board the public bus that services the airport. Route 400 departs from the T3 Domestic terminal and will take you all the way into the CBD for only AUD 5.60 one-way.
The taxi stands are outside each domestic terminal. A one-way trip into the city usually takes 20-minutes if there is no traffic and costs around AUD 45-55. If you would rather use Uber, you can wait for your driver at the priority pick-up area.
For travellers that prefer more independence, car rental companies are at T2 and T3 on the arrivals level of the domestic terminals.
