Best time to visit Perth

The best time to visit Perth

Springtime attracts Australian and international travellers to Western Australia. The wildflowers are in bloom in Perth from September through November creating a colourful and scenic draw for the city. There is a network of flower-lined trails to explore throughout the city and surrounding areas. Plus, spring also signals an increase in sunny days and temperatures between 11 and 23°C (73°F) mean there are ample opportunities for outdoor activities. Summers in Perth can be summed up in two words: hot and dry. While the welcome seabreeze in the afternoon helps to cool the city off at night, the days can still be scorchers - and it is this heat that often keeps locals and travellers alike inside. If you are booking CHC to PER flights for summer, be sure to pack light clothing and plenty of sunscreen. With moderate temperatures, only occasional rain and plenty of sunshine, autumn is a great season to still enjoy the beaches and snorkelling excursions. A trip to Perth in the winter can become a bit water-logged and there are infrequent thunderstorms.
