In the spring, London comes alive with blooming flowers and trees, and in autumn the city’s parks are full of vibrant foliage. The bus runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and buses depart every 10 minutes throughout the day. SkyBus stops include Queen Street, Dominion Road, Symonds Street, and Mount Eden Road. You can purchase a one-way ticket for $18 NZD or a return ticket for $32 NZD.

 

 

For the most direct trip to the airport, you can catch a taxi or an Uber from locations all over the city. A taxi will get you to Auckland Airport in less than 30 minutes. A taxi to the airport will cost about $60 NZD from the CBD and central suburbs of Auckland.

The major airports to receive international flights are London Heathrow (LHR), Gatwick Airport (LGW), and Stansted Airport (STN). Heathrow is the largest airport and is located 24 kilometres (15 miles) west of the city. Gatwick is the city’s secondary airport and is located 43 kilometres (27 miles) south of London. Stansted receives a high volume of international flights as well and is 63 kilometres (39 miles) northeast of the city centre.

The majority of long-haul flights into London arrive to London Heathrow (LHR). Heathrow is located on London’s Underground system (also known as the Tube), making it easy to reach the city centre. The trip takes about 45 minutes on the Piccadilly Line, which connects to several stations in central London. Stansted Airport (STN) is serviced by the Stansted Express. This train departs from the airport every 15 minutes and takes you to the central station of Liverpool Street in about 45 minutes.
