The City Express service covers two routes, along Mt Eden Road or Dominion Road, and terminates at Queen Street. The other SkyBus service travels to the North Harbour. Car parks at Auckland International Airport are labelled according to their coordinating terminal gate and range from covered and uncovered, economy, park and ride, and even valet services.

The fastest route from HKG to the city centre is via the Airport Express train. The trains run every 12 minutes and will put you in the city centre in just 24 minutes. The fare from the airport to Hong Kong Station runs $115 HKD ($22 NZD). A bus ride from the airport can take about 45 minutes. Fares vary depending on the route, but you can expect to pay about $8 NZD per passenger. Getting from HKG to the city centre can be a bit confusing if you plan on taking a taxi; the cars are colour-coded according to the areas they service. Red taxis serve urban areas, including all of Hong Kong Island and Kowloon; green taxis serve the New Territories, which is the area of land above Kowloon; blue taxis serve only Lantau Island. The green and blue taxis are great to use during your trip, but initially upon arrival, you should only need the red. Also note, flat rate fares are non-negotiable and passengers are also responsible for paying any tolls along the way.
