When is The Best Time to Visit Edmonton?

Edmonton International Airport

Edmonton International is located 26 kilometres from the city centre. The airport offers non-stop flights to major domestic destinations as well the United States, Mexico, Central America and Europe. It's a hub for Canadian North and is the country's largest major airport.

Getting To and From Edmonton International Airport

The cheapest way to get from the airport into the city is with Edmonton Transit System's Route 747. It's an express bus service that runs every 30 minutes from the airport and the Century Park bus station. The buses run every day from 4:10 a.m. and a single journey cost CAD 5.

If you don't want to take the bus, the next best option is the Edmonton Skyshuttle. It's a cost effective way to get dropped off at your hotel without having to make any other transfers. A one-way ride costs CAD 18, and you will need to pre-book your trip online.

Other shuttle services include the SunDog Transportation and Tours that runs a door-to-door service between the airport and Jasper National Park as well as the ebus. Both options need to be booked in advance, and pickups are outside door #10.

The airport is also served by six taxi and limousine companies. The flat rate to downtown Edmonton is CAD 55 by taxi and CAD 66 by limo.
