  • Know your budget. A hostel dorm room in Dubbo costs between AUD 28-40 and a hotel room will set you back AUD 130-250.
  • Go on the Dubbo Heritage Walk. It will take you past the city's ornate buildings and teach you about the figures from the past that helped shape the city into what it is today.
  • Do the Beyond the Grave Tour. It takes place at the Old Dubbo Gaol which closed in 1966 and is believed to be one of the most haunted spots in the city.
  • Go to the Dubbo Farmers Market. It takes place on the first and third Saturday of the month inside Macquarie Lions Park. You'll be able to pick up some delicious local produce such as fruit, vegetables, and wine.
