Bora Bora Airport is situated on the small islet Motu Mute, which sits northwest of the main island, so you’ll be able to start your holiday in style thanks to a short catamaran trip over to Bora Bora’s Vaitape Quay. December to March is the rainy season, with around 14 days of rain per month, though daytime temperatures are still around 28°C. If you plan to stay on the island for a week or so, you’ll likely still have plenty of sunny days to spend at the beach or by the swimming pool. The dry season is from May to October and temperatures average around 26°C during the day. Humidity is also much lower, creating great conditions for outdoor activities.
