USA Travel Guide
The United States of America is made up of fifty states and a federal district. The USA is located in North America, bordered by Canada and Mexico, and is home to one of the world's largest populations.
Travellers should take advantage of America's size, as the weather is always perfect somewhere in the US. Typically Spring (between March and May) and Autumn (between September and November) are the best times to travel around the United States.
Some travellers choose to avoid the peak Summer holiday season, beginning late May through to September (depending on the location) due to the excessive heat.
Flying to the USA
Airlines fly to many destinations in the USA including V Australia, Delta, Qantas and Air New Zealand.
Travellers from New Zealand and Australia will need to apply for an Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) online. It is suggested to complete this document online at least 72 hours before travel. Travel under the Visa Waiver Program (ESTA) is limited to 90 days.
