Etihad Airways

Etihad Airways is the national airline of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Created by royal decree in 2003, Etihad Airways is the airline of choice for flights to Abu Dhabi, where the airline is based.

Etihad Airways is one of the fastest growing airlines in the world and within 30 months of start up in June 2006, Etihad was servicing flights to 30 international destinations. To continue Etihad's worldwide service, the airline plans on growing its flight routes to 70 international destinations by 2010.

Although a young airline, Etihad Airways has achieved many accomplishments in its short history. Etihad Airways was the first airline to offer many non-stop flights from the UAE to many international destinations including Geneva, Brussels, Toronto and Johannesburg.

There are three cabin classes onboard Etihad Airways flights - Coral Zone Economy Class, Pearl Zone Business Class and Diamond Zone First Class.

The Coral Zone, although economy class still exudes the high level of service and attention to detail that is affiliated with Etihad Airways. The seats in Coral Zone feature full lumbar, head and foot support as well as state of the art AVOD (audio-video on demand) which offers over 600 hours of music and movies all on a 10.4 inch personal LCD screens.

Pearl Zone - Etihad Business Class

Pearl Zone was awarded the Best Business Class in the 2009 Skytrax Awards and as such you can expect the best. Passengers in Pearl Zone are treated to self contained seats that fully recline and even feature a built in massage. Business class passengers can relax listening to music or watching movies on their personal 16 inch LCD screen, and with AVOD featuring over 600 hours of entertainment, passengers will never be bored.

Diamond Zone - Etihad First Class

First class service and features are unparalleled in Etihad Airways' Diamond Zone. Passengers can enjoy some alone time in privacy shells that also include a coatroom and mini-bar. First class passengers also have rotating seats to make meetings in-flight meetings more efficient and seats which fully recline, making sleep during flights more comfortable. AVOD in the Diamond Zone is standard with over 600 hours of entertainment all on a 23 inch personal LCD screen.
