Terms And Conditions
Acceptance of these terms and conditions is a condition of booking and is your acknowledgement that you have read, understood and agreed to be bound by them.

The "Service" is the Webjet site, the software associated with the site and the facility to enter into transactions with certain parties whose content appears on the site.
When you access the Webjet site (a "Visit"), you are using software which is owned by or licensed to Webjet Ltd. For each Visit, Webjet Marketing Pty Ltd, as agent for Webjet Ltd, grants you a personal non-exclusive license to use the software associated with the Webjet site for the duration of the Visit and for the sole purpose of making airline, car hire or accommodation enquiries and bookings ("Licence"). This Licence does not permit you to make a Visit for the purpose of "carrying on a business as a travel agent" within the meaning of any applicable legislation regulating travel agents, unless you are a licensed travel agent under that legislation. Any other use, commercial or otherwise, of the software or information on the site without the express written permission of Webjet is strictly prohibited, including any reproduction, data mining, automated querying or similar data extraction processing. Webjet Marketing Pty Ltd is not the agent of Webjet Ltd for any other purpose connected with the Service.
What We May Do
Because we are reliant on the availability of seats, airfare rules and their associated pricing levels from either the airline directly or their distributing partners, we reserve the right to amend your booking in consultation with you in the event of an error by these third parties. In such circumstances additional fare charges may have to be paid by you and/or your itinerary may need to be changed to comply with either the fare rule and/or availability of seats.
You acknowledge that some of the material accessible through the Service is provided by third parties. This material does not form part of the Service, and we are not responsible for this material. Where the Service provides the facility to enter into transactions with third parties, you acknowledge that the goods or services offered by these third parties do not form part of the Service, and that we are not responsible for those third parties or the goods or services they offer. Airlines and other third party travel providers impose different terms and conditions on the sale of specific travel products featured on this site. You should carefully read all the terms and conditions specific to the product you are booking before finalising your travel transaction.
You grant us an ongoing consent to use your information to promote and market our products and services and make other offers to you (including by making telemarketing calls to you, and sending you electronic messages including via email and SMS). You acknowledge that this consent continues indefinitely until such time as you expressly withdraw it. If you do not wish us to contact you or you would like us to stop promoting and marketing products, services and other offers to you, please contact us at any time by submitting a request through our feedback form.
We may disclose some of your information at an aggregate level for marketing purposes provided that you cannot be personally identified from this aggregated data. We may use information about you for marketing, internal planning or product development purposes in order to improve the quality of our services. We may use or disclose the personal information which you have provided to us in accordance with our Privacy Policy, as indicated on the Webjet Website. Our actions in handling your personal information are detailed in Webjet's Privacy Policy.
You consent to us supplying your billing, payment and identification information to third parties with whom you enter into transactions using the Service. We may also provide such personal information to third parties as is required to complete your booking. You accept that the recipients of this disclosure may not have in place privacy policies equivalent to Webjet's.
You authorise our agents to disclose your credit card details to, and obtain information from, any financial institution or credit card issuer to verify the credit card and identification details that you provide. You also authorise your credit card issuer or financial institution to verify that the credit card and identification details you have provided to us are accurate. You authorise our agents to take steps to confirm that there is sufficient credit on your credit card account to meet likely charges. For any payment by credit card, airline tickets and other documentation will not be issued until authorisation has been obtained from the relevant card company.
We may amend this agreement at any time by posting the revised version of the agreement to the Webjet web site. The amended agreement will take effect from the time of posting on the Webjet web site.
You authorise our agents to charge all fees incurred to the credit card designated by you. If payment is not received from the card issuer or its agents for any reason, you agree to pay us all amounts due on demand. Once payment has been received, you agree not to seek to reverse or cancel such payment through your card issuer or its agents without Webjet's prior written consent.
Webjet reserves the right to charge amendment or cancellation fees depending on circumstances and airline conditions.
Before we proceed to issue your airline ticket or process any travel booking on your behalf, various checks are taking place to validate the integrity of credit card information and in certain circumstances the credit card holder will be required to submit verification documentation to substantiate identity. The intent of this process is to reduce any potential risk for fraud and disruption to passengers upon check in. In circumstances where we cannot contact the card holder and the ticket issuance period lapses thereby making the booking invalid, we will have no choice but to cancel the booked arrangements. Under these circumstances we accept no responsibility for any re-booking costs.
We reserve the right at our absolute discretion to decline or accept bookings made from outside New Zealand. Any automatic booking confirmations for such bookings are conditional contingent on our view of any financial risks, potential ticket despatch delays, or other international regulations that may apply.
Webjet makes no representation that its airline price sales are identical to prices on individual airline sites that may exist from time to time. Webjet reserves the right for marketing and commercial reasons to modify prices.
Finally, please note, any confirmed booking is subject to your credit card approval for the transaction. In an eventuality where your credit card is not approved we will attempt to contact you but hold no responsibility for any subsequent non provision of services in the event we are unable to establish contact with you.
What You Must Do
By registering for the Service, you warrant to us that you are at least eighteen years old. You must have sufficient credit on your credit card account to meet all charges for travel services you book through this web site.
You must keep secure any means of identification that we provide to you in order to access the Service. You must not resell the Service or any products or services accessed by means of the Service, or permit any other person, other than adult members of your household or others with your express permission and under your personal supervision, to use your user identification to access the Service. Webjet takes no responsibility for any transactions which may occur as a result of a disclosure by you of your password to third parties, or through any unauthorised access to your personal information. You are responsible for all use of the Service, and all transactions entered into by means of the Service, using this user identification. You must not use the Service for any activities which breach any laws, infringe any party's rights, or breach any standards, content requirements or codes promulgated by any relevant authority.
You must not use the Service in any way which interferes with other users or defames, harasses or menaces anyone. You indemnify us from and against all actions, claims, suits, demands, liabilities, costs or expenses arising out of or in any way connected to use of the Service by you or any other person using your membership identification or password. You acknowledge that copyright subsists in all software, including HTML code, provided in association with the Service. You must not grant a third party the right to access and use the Service. You must not disassemble, decompile, reverse engineer the whole or any part of the software accessed by means of the Service except to the extent that any applicable law prevents Webjet or Webjet Marketing prohibiting you from doing so. You must not modify, copy, transmit, display, perform, publish, license or create derivative works from any information or software accessed by means of the Service. Where copying or transmission is expressly permitted, you must not change or delete any author attribution or copyright notice. You must not use the software associated with the Service except in accordance with the Licence.
You acknowledge that we may receive a commission or an affiliate fee from transactions entered into using the Service.
You must not novate or assign any of your rights under this agreement to a third party.
You agree that as a member you will be automatically added to our email newsletter for product and promotional updates. If you do not wish to continue to receive these newsletters, you will be given the option to unsubscribe in the newsletter.
About Our Liability
All warranties and other terms which are not expressly included in these terms and conditions are excluded to the maximum extent permitted by law. Where we are liable to you under these terms and conditions, to the maximum extent permitted by law our liability will be limited, at our option, to resupply of the Service or the cost of resupplying the Service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Webjet Marketing Pty Ltd, as agent of Webjet Ltd, excludes all liability of Webjet Ltd in relation to the Service.
We do not endorse or recommend any particular travel service provider, nor do we vouch for the accuracy or completeness of the information provided by third parties in relation to their products and services. Information provided through the Service is provided in good faith, and is subject to amendment at any time without notice. You should make your own evaluation of the accuracy or completeness of any information, opinion, advice or other content available through the Service.
You are solely responsible for the suitability of any travel services which you purchase by means of the Service. In particular, we are not liable for any inconvenience caused or expense incurred as a result of any unsuitability of travel services for use in association with other travel services, except to the extent that liability in relation to those matters may be imposed on us by legislation that cannot be excluded. Webjet Marketing's role in relation to your travel arrangements is limited to facilitating your booking and arranging travel documentation, payments and refunds as applicable.
Webjet Marketing accepts responsibility for the performance of this role and for the negligence of its employees. However, to the maximum extent permitted by law, Webjet Marketing disclaims all liability for any technical errors, corruption of data, unauthorised access to your personal data, inaccuracies in information supplied by third parties, or failure by Webjet Marketing to complete bookings where that failure is due to circumstances beyond it's control.
To the maximum extent permitted by the law, Webjet Marketing accepts responsibility for the performance of this role and for the negligence of its employees. However, to the maximum extent permitted by law, Webjet Marketing disclaims all liability for any technical errors, corruption of any data, unauthorised access to your personal data, inaccuracies in information supplied by third parties, or failure by Webjet Marketing to complete bookings where that failure is due to circumstances beyond it's control.
Webjet Marketing accepts no responsibility or liability for any failure or delay on the part of any third party in providing travel services to you where your booking has been properly processed by it; nor is Webjet Marketing responsible for any acts or omissions of airlines or other third parties in the course of delivery of such travel services, except to the extent that responsibility for those matters may be imposed on Webjet Marketing by legislation that cannot be excluded. Where Webjet Marketing is liable to you under these terms and conditions its liability will be limited to providing the relevant booking services again or to refunding money paid in relation to services not provided because of Webjet Marketing's default. Webjet Marketing shall only be liable to provide a refund to you to the extent that that it actually receives a refund from the relevant airline or other third party. Where refunds are due to you from third party suppliers of travel products or services, Webjet Marketing will provide reasonable assistance to you in claiming such funds from those suppliers. In that situation, Webjet Marketing is authorised (but not obliged) to seek such refunds from the third party supplier of travel products or services directly and on its own behalf. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Webjet Marketing excludes all liability for direct, indirect, consequential or incidental damages, lost profits or savings or damages for disappointment.

Please note, in the case of any booking for Air Asia or Tiger Airways, Webjet is not acting as an agent of Air Asia or Tiger Airways.
Flights
Fees and Charges
Processing Fee
The Processing Fee, Booking Price Guarantee, Insurance (if selected), are non refundable and will be charged to your credit card or PayPal account within 24 hours. Funds need to be available on your card now otherwise ticketing will not take place and you may need to rebook at a higher fare level.
The Webjet Servicing Fee and Booking Price Guarantee apply per booking which can include multiple passengers and products.
Webjet Servicing Fee: Domestic $10.95, Trans Tasman $18.95, International $33.95.
Booking Price Guarantee: Domestic $8.95, Trans Tasman $10.95, International $17.95.
Payment and Service Fee:
Any Payment and Service Fee is charged by Webjet in its own capacity (as merchant), and not as an agent for any other party. Payment and Service Fees cover a range of costs, services, fees and charges in relation to your booking, including (among other things for example fraud prevention) the reasonable costs of accepting card payments. Any Payment and Service fees will be shown in the price of your booking on the review page.
Booking Price Guarantee:
Webjet guarantees the price of your flight, along with any hotel, car rental or travel insurance booked at the same time. This means the price you have selected, provided you complete your booking within 30 minutes, will not change. Even if your fare sells out during this time, resulting in a more expensive seat being booked, this cost is covered by Webjet’s Booking Price Guarantee!
This small fee is automatically included in your booking payment summary. Webjet reserves the right to limit liability to $1000 per booking.
For some international mix-and-match flights Webjet’s flights results page indicates that some return flight pricing has been converted to NZD at the exchange rate on the day of booking. Variations to your final price may occur due to currency fluctuations. Please note, where any pricing has been converted from a foreign currency to NZD your credit card company may charge a conversion fee.
Passports and Visas
Please ensure you have a valid Passport and a Visa (as applicable) to the countries you are travelling to.
All departing passengers require a valid passport for international travel. This means the passport must be valid for a set minimum period beyond your travel dates and is often variable depending on the country you visit.
A reminder if you are travelling overseas it is your responsibility to ensure you have a valid Passport and Visa where required. To assist you, both in determining whether you require a visa and the processing of your application online, please go to: http://www.passports.govt.nz/
Please ensure you check that you have a valid passport well in advance of travel as either the airline staff or immigration authorities will not allow you to pass through customs and board your flight without this documentation.
Visas
A visa provides you with the authority as a non-citizen to travel to another country.
Visas are obtained from the issuing authority in New Zealand, usually an embassy. Visa requirements vary by both country you are travelling to and the current citizenship you hold so please ensure you check well in advance of your travel dates to allow sufficient processing time as required by the embassy.
Either airline staff or immigration authorities may not allow you to pass through customs and board your flight without the appropriate Visa.
Finally, some countries will not allow you to enter without proof of a return or onward electronic or paper ticket. Airline check in staff at your point of origin may deny boarding you. If you proceed to book a one way ticket please ensure you have checked with the Consulate of the country you are traveling to in order to ensure that you comply with their laws and regulations.
All matters relating to complying with the laws and regulations of all immigration authorities are solely your responsibility.
Refunds
Your request for a refund of an airfare booked on the Webjet website is governed by the terms and conditions of the airfare you purchased and are as determined by the airlines. Many fares are non-refundable. Airline charges or cancellation fees may apply to your particular airfare.
Where a refund is applicable, the turnaround time from the date of your request for refund to the date you are provided with your refund may take up to 12 weeks. This is beyond the control of Webjet.
Currency
All pricing is reflected in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) unless otherwise specifically denoted on the screen.
Ending This Agreement
This agreement is governed by the laws in force in Victoria, Australia. You irrevocably submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria and courts of appeal from them for determining any dispute concerning this agreement.
The Qantas terms and conditions of carriage are set out for your convenience and we ask that you read them carefully.
Hotels
Hotel bookings are paid in full at the time of booking charged to your chosen credit card. In the event that you need to cancel your booking, you must advise Webjet as early as possible before your check-in date, as failure to do so will result in minimally a one night room charge charged by the hotel to your credit card. Please check the cancellation and change penalties hotels impose prior to paying for your booking. Cancellation penalties will also be detailed at the bottom of your Hotel Confirmation voucher after purchase.
Webjet hotels are supplied by third parties at contract prices displayed in the site. Webjet may receive additional commissions from the sale of these products. Webjet cannot verify the accuracy of the hotel information on the Webjet website (including availability).
"Webjet Hotels" a trading name of Zuji Limited and is a fully owned subsidiary of Webjet Limited.
The "Service" is the provision of rights to hotel rooms (Hotel Rights) in the various jurisdictions offered on the Webjet Hotels site and any connected Webjet websites by way of a facility so you can enter into transactions to book and acquire access to those hotel rooms.
When you access the Webjet Hotels site (whether directly or via any link from any other site) (a Visit), you are using software which is owned by or licensed to Webjet Hotels. For each Visit, Webjet Hotels, grants you a personal non-exclusive license to use the software associated with the Webjet Hotels site for the duration of the Visit and for the sole purpose of your booking and acquisition of Hotel Rights. You are not permitted to make a Visit for the purpose of "carrying on a business as a travel agent" within the meaning of any legislation in any jurisdiction which regulates travel agents, unless you are a licensed travel agent under that legislation. What We May Do
We reserve the right to amend your booking in consultation with you in the event of an error by the Hotel Operator to which the Hotel Rights relate or, in circumstances beyond Webjet Hotels' control, the Hotel Operator advises that it is unable to provide Hotel Rights at the price advertised on the Webjet Hotels' site. In such circumstances additional charges may have to be paid by you for the Hotel Rights.
Where the Webjet Hotels site or a connected Webjet site provides the facility to enter into transactions with third parties, you acknowledge that the goods or services offered by these third parties do not form part of Webjet Hotel’s Service, and that we are not responsible for those third parties or the goods or services they offer. You should carefully read all the terms and conditions specific to any product you are booking before finalising your travel transaction.

Finally, please note that either before (or after) your have accepted Webjet Hotel's offer of Hotel Rights, we will seek credit card approval for the transaction. In an eventuality where your credit card is not approved we will attempt to contact you. In circumstances where we cannot contact the card holder or credit card approval is not obtained within a reasonable time period, we will have no choice but withdraw the offer for (or cancel) the booking for the Hotel Rights. Under these circumstances we accept no responsibility for any re-booking costs or the subsequent non provision of the Hotel Rights.
What You Must Do
By clicking “Pay Now” and booking Hotel Rights, you warrant to us that you are at least eighteen years old. You must have sufficient credit on your credit card account to meet all charges for Hotel Rights you acquire through the Webjet Hotels site.
By clicking “Pay Now” you are also accepting our offer of Hotel Rights as specified on that page, and subject to these Terms and Conditions. The agreement to book the Hotel Right is not binding on you or Webjet Hotels until your acceptance of Webjet Hotels' offer is received by Webjet Hotels in Hong Kong (through your clicking the 'Pay Now' button, which is hosted by a host provider in Hong Kong and transmits your acceptance to Webjet Hotels in Hong Kong).

You acknowledge that we may receive a margin from the sale of Hotel Rights.

About Our Liability

However, to the maximum extent permitted by law, Webjet Hotels disclaims all liability for any technical errors, corruption of data, unauthorised access to your personal data, inaccuracies in information supplied by any third parties, or failure by Webjet Hotels to provide Hotel Rights where that failure is due to circumstances beyond its control.
Webjet Hotels accepts no responsibility or liability for any failure or delay on the part of any third party in providing any travel services to you; nor is Webjet Hotels responsible for any acts or omissions of any third parties in the course of delivery of any such travel services, except to the extent that responsibility for those matters may be imposed on Webjet Hotels by legislation that cannot be excluded. Webjet Hotels is not providing any services to you other than the Hotel Rights. Where Webjet Hotels is liable to you under these terms and conditions its liability will be limited to providing the relevant Hotel Rights again or to refunding money paid in relation to Hotel Rights not provided because of Webjet Hotels’ default. Where refunds are due to you from third party suppliers of travel products or services, Webjet Hotels is not obliged to provide assistance to you in claiming such funds from those suppliers. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Webjet Hotels excludes all liability for direct, indirect, consequential or incidental damages, lost profits or savings or damages for disappointment.
We recommend before travelling to the jurisdiction in which you have acquired a Hotel Right that you check the Government website applicable in your jurisdiction for any applicable travel advisories relevant to that jurisdiction. Additional Hotels Terms & Conditions
Room Occupancy & Bedding Configuration
All prices shown are based on the occupancy you have requested, using the existing bedding in the room. If additional or rollaway beds are required, these are subject to availability at the property only and additional charges may be payable to the property directly.
Please ensure that the occupancy you have requested is correct before you make a booking.
Errors & Omissions
We reserve the right to amend your booking in consultation with you where an error or omission was made in relation to the product or services purchased and;
• The error/omission was made in circumstances outside our control; or
• The error/omission was made by the travel service provider or the hotel and they have advised they are unable to provide the purchased product or services at the price advertised, or at all; or
• The error/omission made by us or the travel service provider or the hotel leads to a material and unreasonable outcome (for example, a luxury hotel booked at $10).
We publish all content on our sites in good faith; however it is provided by the hotel directly or by our third party suppliers and we do not check or verify the accuracy of the hotel information on our websites (including availability, rates, images, descriptions and star ratings). All content is subject to amendment without notice.
Star ratings of hotels are provided for information purposes only and are not a guarantee or warranty of any kind. Star ratings may be based on a range of subjective or objective criteria, and as such, our ratings are not guaranteed to be consistent with the star ratings found on other online travel sites or the hotel’s own website. Where possible, Trip Advisor ratings and reviews are provided to help you make an informed decision. Please note star ratings and their associated quality vary considerably from one country to another.
Information provided related to mapping and distances is also provided for information purposes only and is not a guarantee or warranty of any kind of the location of the hotel.
Images displayed on our sites are provided by third party suppliers and may comprise photos of the hotel’s exterior, rooms, suites, restaurants and guest facilities. Again, we do not check or verify these images. Please note that room images shown may not depict the actual room you have booked.
Special requests (e.g. non-smoking facility or bedding configurations) are not guaranteed. Requests for rollaway beds and/or cribs may result in charges payable directly to the hotel.
Errors and omissions on our sites are corrected upon learning of the same. We reserve the right to cancel any reservation without liability or penalty to you, if an error or omission occurs in any of the circumstances outlined above.
Your Responsibilities
You may be requested to contact a hotel prior to your arrival if you are arriving outside of the property’s normal reception hours or if check in is at an alternative location after hours. If you fail to make arrangements for check in with the hotel you have booked, we reserve the right to refuse a refund and will not be responsible for the cost of relocation.
Upon check in, a hotel may require you to present government-issued ID and/or a credit card/cash deposit to cover incidental expenses during your stay. The credit card/cash deposit is not related to payment received by us.
A hotel may also ask you to present government issued ID that matches the name on your booking.
If you fail to provide either of the above to the hotel, you may be denied check in. In these instances we may refuse to provide a refund and we cannot be held liable for any costs (e.g. for relocation to another hotel) incurred as a result.
We remind you that we are an intermediary only, and upon booking, your contract is between yourself and the hotel you have booked. If the services provided by the hotel fall below your expectations, it is your responsibility to raise this with the hotel during your stay. If you fail to provide the hotel with reasonable opportunity to resolve your complaints, our ability to request a refund after you have checked out will be limited and may not be possible at all.
Renovations and Closures
We endeavour to make any information related to renovations or facility closures available to you on our site. Periods of closure are advised by our suppliers and/or the hotel and may be subject to change without notice.
Relocation
In the unlikely event of relocation due to a hotel’s inability to accommodate you, we reserve the right to provide you with a suitable alternative hotel or provide a full refund. You do not have to accept an offered alternative; in that instance, we will provide you with a full refund of the value of the original hotel booking that is unable to be accommodated as booked.
Pricing
Resort Fees and Local Taxes
All prices shown generally exclude locally payable taxes levied by some countries and cities on tourists. Examples are city taxes in many cities in Europe and citizenship taxes in South America. Resort fees are also generally not included in the prices shown. These taxes and fees can be calculated based on the type of hotel or room you have booked, the length of your stay or the reason for travel, can change at any time and are payable direct to the hotel.
Compulsory Special Events
Many hotels around the world require guests to pay for and attend celebratory events on special occasions such as Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, Chinese New Year and Valentine’s Day. Room rates shown generally exclude the cost of attending these events. Please enquire directly at the hotel you have selected if you are planning to stay over festive periods.
Price Changes
Our system accesses rate and availability information from our suppliers. Due to the dynamic nature of rates and inventory, the room price may change while you are in the process of completing your booking. If this does occur, you will be advised of this price change before your booking is confirmed, and be given the opportunity to select another hotel or room type.
Fees and Charges
Any credit card fee is charged by Webjet Hotels in its own capacity (as merchant) and not as an agent for any other party.
Currency
All pricing is reflected in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) unless otherwise specifically denoted on the screen.
Coupon Codes
Coupon Codes may be made available from time to time to offer additional savings on a hotel booking. Coupon codes may apply to selected hotels only and may be subject to a minimum spend requirement. All coupon code bookings are subject to availability.
Coupon codes are valid for the duration of the respective coupon code promotion only and only one coupon code per booking may be used. If multiple coupon codes are available at the same time, they are not cumulative and it is at the discretion of the customer to select the coupon code they wish to apply.
Coupon codes have no cash or refund value and cannot be returned for cash or its equivalent. Coupon codes cannot be applied to the cost of existing bookings and cannot be used for amendments to existing bookings, irrespective of whether a coupon code was used for the original booking.
Webjet Hotels Limited reserves the right to alter or withdraw coupon code promotions at any time.
