Travel to Somoa

The Capital of Samoa is Apia. The best time to visit Somoa is in the dry season, between May and October. The dry season is an especially great time to visit Samoa when most large Samoan festivals are held.

Travellers should visit both of Samoa’s main Islands - Savaii and Upolu. Each island has its own unique character and spectacular geographic features. The currency used in Somoa is the Tala (WST). It is the same across both islands of Samoa.
