Polynesian Airlines

Polynesian Airlines flies out of Samoa’s Faleolo International Airport, in the countries capital, Apia. Previously Polynesian Airlines flew to Apia from; Auckland, Wellington, Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, Nadi, and Pago Pago in American Samoa.

A joint venture between the Samoan Government and Virgin Blue, creating Polynesian Blue; resulted in the down sizing of Polynesian Airlines.

Polynesian Airlines now operates between Apia and Pago Pago, in American Samoa.

When required Polynesian Airlines connects Apia to Maota and Asau, on the island of Savaii. Connections are also made from Apia to Tonga and Niue.

Polynesian Airlines manages ground handling services for all international airlines at Faleolo Airport.

A minimum of 3 daily flights between Apia and Pago Pago, are provided by Polynesian Airlines.

What is my baggage allowance on Polynesian Airlines?

Passengers (excluding infants under 2 years ) can check in up to 20kg baggage free.  Cabin baggage is restricted to one piece not exceeding 5kg and 100 linear cm per person. 

Excess baggage may be accepted subject to available space and additional charges apply.
