Air New Zealand Offers Free Domestic Flights for Australians

Air New Zealand is giving away more than $2 million in free one-way New Zealand domestic flight to any of its New Zealand ports with every one-way direct trans-Tasman flight purchased from 20 April 2009 to 10 May 2009 for travel in May and June 2009.

The ‘Big NZ Shout’ campaign is in support of the New Zealand Government’s $2.5 million tourism funding boost for Australia and will get more Australians visiting all parts of New Zealand.

Air New Zealand continues flights from Dunedin to Sydney and Melbourne

Recent reductions in the prices of airfares have led to increased bookings to Sydney and Melbourne from Dunedin. As a result, Air New Zealand have announced flights to Sydney and Melbourne from Dunedin will continue during the peak period this summer, with flights to Brisbane to continue to operate in the peak winter months.

More Premium Economy Seats on Air New Zealand

Air New Zealand have announced the number of Pacific Premium Economy seats on its 777-200ER aircraft, used for long haul flights to London, San Francisco, Tokyo, Shanghai, Beijing and Los Angeles.

The Premium Economy seats offer customers with more legroom with seat pitch increased by 3 inches and a new self-service bar area for customers travelling in premium cabins. Premium Economy customers will also enjoy 9 inches of seat recline and Business Class style food and beverage service and amenities.
